Associate/Senior Associate
Description As a regional boutique investment bank, we are seeking a driven and technically strong individual who combines hands-on deal execution capability with the initiative to lead team members and engage meaningfully with clients. This individual will be a core contributor across active mandates while developing the client-facing and team leadership skills.
  • Responsibility
  • Contribute to deal engagements across all stages of execution, including preparation and quality review of key transaction materials such as pitch decks, data rooms, financial models, and other supplemental data.
  • Coordinate directly with clients throughout the deal process, including managing material preparation workflows, facilitating information requests, and supporting the due diligence process in close collaboration with the client’s working team.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and other relevant operational stakeholders, ensuring effective day-to-day coordination throughout the engagement.
  • Lead and allocate tasks across the team, providing day-to-day direction, structured feedback, and quality oversight on their deliverables.
  • Actively grow and maintain relationships with investors, including private equity firms, venture capital funds, strategic investors, and family offices, and provide informed input to support deal selection and investor targeting decisions.
  • Support business development and origination efforts by identifying and engaging prospective clients.
  • Contribute to firm-level knowledge building by documenting deal learnings, sector observations, and investor feedback into reusable internal know-how and reference materials.
  • Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree from reputable institutions. A master’s degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
  • Accumulated 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, financial advisory, corporate finance, investments, consulting, or accounting & auditing.
  • Solid technical proficiency across core disciplines such as financial modelling, valuation, and deck making, with the ability to independently produce high-quality materials and guide junior team members on execution standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate the team, with strong communication skills to interact confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Possess business acumen with the potential ability to identify key issues in a deal context and contribute constructively to problem-solving and deal evaluation discussions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across internal teams and external parties.
  • Professional fluency in both local office languages (Indonesian/Vietnamese/Chinese) and English.
Vice President
Description At the Vice President position, the main duties include leadership and mentorship role with deal sourcing and management responsibilities on top of active contribution to the development of the firm and long-term impact generation at Favour Capital.
  • Responsibility
  • Lead in deal sourcing and participate actively in the entire process of capital raising and M&A execution
  • Involvement in strategic planning with senior management team
  • Managing, supporting, and mentoring the deal team
  • Overseeing industry & company research
  • Lead the preparation of materials for internal and external meetings (pitchbooks, presentation materials, teasers, etc.)
  • Developing financial models, valuation (DCF, sensitivity analysis, comparable), and due diligence work
  • Developing business relationships and key decision-makers
  • Qualification
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top university; Master's degree is highly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, PE/VC/CVC, Big Four, and management consulting is required
  • Familiar with the tech and consumer industries and venture capital ecosystem
  • Strong command of professional English
  • Self-driven, altruistic, enthusiastic, creative, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Robust financial and analytical skillset with strong quantitative and technical abilities
  • Possess high integrity, strong initiative, and leadership potential
